Terms and Conditions of Sale – La Grange de L’Abille

This translation is provided for convenience. The French version is the only legally binding text.

I- Prices

Prices are in euros, taxes included, per room, per night, breakfast included, tourist tax extra.
The price of the meal at the table d’hôtes does not include drinks.
The rates do not include any additional services.
Payment is possible in cash (euros), by bank card (Visa/EuroCard/MasterCard), by bank transfer (for the booking part), or with ANCV holiday vouchers.

II- Bookings

On receipt of the booking made by the customer on the owner’s website https://www.grangedelabille.fr/, the said customer will receive a confirmation e-mail entitled: your booking on the website La Grange De L’Abille.
The owner invites the customer to check the details of this booking:
Their contact details and more particularly their e-mail address and mobile phone number so that they can be reached before and during the booking.
Their comments and, if this booking is a gift, the full contact details of the beneficiaries so that the owner can issue a gift voucher if desired.
The room booked – the number of people – the arrival date – the departure date – the number of nights.
The total price of the booking; the amount shown includes taxes, tourist tax included.
If this booking meets expectations, we invite the customer to pay, within 5 days, the deposit representing 30% of the total amount of the service booked, or at least one night for short stays of fewer than 4 nights.
By paying the deposit, the customer confirms their full and complete agreement with the general
conditions specified below.
Without payment of the deposit within the time allowed, the booking is not confirmed. Consequently, at the end of the 5-day period, the owner reserves the right to put the room(s) back up for rental.
In the case of a “last-minute” booking, that is to say less than 7 days before the arrival date, the entire stay will be charged at the time of booking and no cancellation or change of date will be possible.

III- Cancellation

More than 30 calendar days before the arrival date, the deposit is refunded, minus €25 as an administration fee (per room booked).
Less than 30 days before the arrival date, the deposit is non-refundable, i.e. 30% of the price of the stay or one night for stays of fewer than 4 nights.
Less than 7 days before, the entire stay will be due.
In the event of early departure during the stay, the entire service booked will be due.
In the event of a no-show, the total amount of the booking will be due.
These cancellation conditions apply in the same way to a stay booked with a gift voucher or paid in advance.
In the event of cancellation less than 7 days before arrival, or in the event of a no-show, the gift voucher or the stay paid in advance is forfeited.

IV- Cancellation insurance

La Grange de l’Abille draws the customer’s attention to the fact that no cancellation insurance is included in its rates. It is therefore strongly recommended to take one out.

V- Cancellation of the stay by the owner

If, before the start of the stay, the owner has to cancel the booking, they will immediately inform the customer by registered letter with acknowledgement of receipt.
The customer will then be immediately and fully refunded all sums paid.

VI- Accommodation

* Arrival time
The rooms are made available to customers on the scheduled day of arrival from 5:00 pm and no later than 8:00 pm.
The customer must inform us by telephone if circumstances force them to arrive after this time slot.
Please do not plan to arrive after 8:30 pm.
* Breakfast
Breakfast time is set from 8:30 am to 10:00 am at the latest.
Depending on a possible requirement, on request, breakfast can be brought forward to 7:30 am.
* Departure time
From Monday to Sunday, departure time is set at 10:30 am at the latest.
* Pets
They are not allowed. In the event of a departure motivated by the refusal of a pet, no refund can be considered.
* No smoking
The whole house is non-smoking. Smoking while standing near the windows is also forbidden.
* Theft/Damage
Any theft or damage committed by the customer in the room will be invoiced.
* Change of room
A change of room for reasons of service or safety will be made to a room of the same capacity and quality. The cost of the booking will be adjusted.

VII- Payment of the accommodation balance

The balance of the stay is to be paid before departure on the customer’s initiative.
An invoice is given to the customer on departure, with the details of the service, the amount of the accommodation, the amount of any additional services, the amount of the tourist tax and the amount of VAT applied.

VIII- Way of living and use of the premises

In order to preserve the tranquillity of the premises and the comfort of the guests, everyone is asked to respect a certain way of living, the one that is required whenever people live in a community.
One of the primary vocations of La Grange de l’Abille is to bring respect, attention and kindness towards its guests.
If, for one reason or another, a customer were not to observe this reciprocity of respect and kindness through words or acts undermining the dignity of another customer or that of the owners, this will result in their expulsion and the termination of the contract, without any compensation being due to them. The entire balance of the stay will be due.

IX- Data Protection Act

In accordance with Law no. 78-17 of 6 January 1978 on information technology, data files and civil liberties, the customer has a right of access to and rectification of the data concerning them.
The owner undertakes in no case to pass on the information the customer has given them to other companies or organisations for advertising purposes.

X- Modification of the conditions of sale

These conditions of sale may be modified at any time and without notice.
Acceptance of and compliance with these conditions of sale are deemed to be given as soon as the deposit is paid.
